Commission
Policy and Payment
We are pleased to offer 10% commission to approved travel agencies
for all individual travel bookings. All published rates and packages
available to the general public are commissionable. Commissions
are paid on room rates only and exclude taxes and service charges.
Commissions are not paid on net Group, Travel Industry,
Special Promotions and certain Discounted Rates.
Our working relations with Travel Agents are guided by goodwill
and integrity:
1. All commissions are to be paid promptly on a monthly basis. Travel
agencies do not deduct their commission in advance from the prepayment
they tender to the hotel on behalf of their client.
2. Travel agents will be advised at the time of booking if a certain
confirmed rate is non- commissionable.
3. Kiana staff will never initiate changing the rate confirmed to
the travel agency and their client. However, if the client requests
a different rate, we will accommodate the client's request. If the
new rate is commissionable, commission will be paid to the travel
agent from the initial booking; if not, the travel agency will be
advised.
4. We will advise the travel agency in writing when the client is
a no-show, or if the client changes the rate initially booked by
the agent, and/or the client changes or cancels the reservation
directly with the hotel.
5. We will pay commission on additional nights the guest stays before
and after the original reservation, as long as the guest is paying
a commissionable rate.
6. If we have to relocate the clients for reasons other than natural
disasters or elements beyond our control, commissions will be paid.
7. Travel agents and their travel companions staying at Kiana will
receive the best of the "Kiana Experience", as we value
the importance of their recommendations.
8. Detailed statements will include the guest name, dates of stay,
room rate and commission calculation for each reservation. Cancellations,
no shows and extended/short stays are identified.
9. Commission payment can be made in the Travel Agency's preferred
currency.
10. Electronic statements can be provided.
At Kiana we make the booking process easy by providing full rate,
inventory and descriptive information on our website. Travel Agents
can book online with their assigned agency ID or on GDS using the
UZ chain code.
